So, this is an idea that has been in my head for a while. It has gone from "Sports Siren" to "Femme Football" to other ideas I have long forgotten.
I realize that there may be another site on here called this, so I may need to change it. When I set this up, it said that "FemmeFootball.blogspot.com" wasn't available. So had to put an extra "football" in front of "femme". If I need to change it, I will and will let all who (won't) read this know. ;)
And, who knows? The other "Femme Football" may be about soccer. :)
This is a place for me to post my thoughts about football - the game, the players, and how hot I think they players are, both physically and in playing.
I can't guarantee that this will be the blog I long for and dream of because those who know me know I dream big and somehow fail on the making the dream real.
If I had my way, players from the NFL would read this and I'd get paid to write this blog, but I know that will never happen. (See, Mom? I CAN accept reality! haha)
So, who am I? I'm a Chicago Bears fan (and yes - I CAN pick fun of the Bears and the fans and myself for being one when picking on is needed!) and I'm an ardent Jay Cutler defender. I don't care if you like the guy, but, just as sure as you'll defend Tom Brady (whom I don't like), I'll defend my QB.
I am also a fan of the sport. While I think that the New England Patriots could be gone from the league and no one outside of Boston would care, I like some of the other teams. I have a great respect for the Green Bay Packers because there is only one other club in the NFL with a history as colourful and as storied as theirs - the Chicago Bears. I think that the Detriot Lions are a good solid team, but can't understand why they're cursed. I think that the Pats are completely overrated and the Falcons completley underrated.
There you go. For now. As I continue to blog on this spot, I'll let you in on a little more of my secrets and who I am as a "Femme Football".
